I can not think of Barbie without remembering her as a toddler, dressed in her cute little pink coat, hat, and muff, when her parents brought her to meet my parents and my late husband's parents, in Raleigh, N.C. Everyone thought she was so adorable, with her dark hair and eyes. Cindi and I were brought together by our husband's being together in the Air Force in Viet Nam, and we were stationed together afterwards in Charleston, S.C. We had such great times together, and adored this beautiful little angel princess. We tried our best to spoil her, and our families remained friends throughout tough and good times. My sincerest sympathy to Barbie's Mom and Dad, her brother, her husband, her children, her grandchild, and all her many family members and friends. Barbie will always be in my heart.

I am at a loss for adequate words to express my grief for you. I had the blessed opportunity of knowing your mother and I know heaven just received one of its most special angels. You are a reflection of your mother in the way you treat people with respect and empathy, not to mention the way you make each person feel loved. I am so sorry for your loss.
