Virginia Pearson

CENTER BARNSTEAD- Mrs. Virginia Ruth (Day) Pearson, 78, of Barnstead, passed away suddenly at home on August 6, 2022. 

Born in Stoneham, MA, Ginnie was the daughter of the late Harry E. and Alice H. (Sedgley) Day.  She was raised and educated in Reading, MA and was a graduate of Reading Memorial High School Class of 1961. 

Prior to her retirement, Ginnie was a longtime employee of the Internal Revenue Service, primarily working out of their Boston office.  She managed several departments and projects throughout her career there. 

She was an avid quilter. 

Ginny was predeceased by her son, David R. Pearson and her sister, Donna Zanni. 

She is survived by her daughter: Katherine E. Jones and her husband Kevin of Naples, FL.  She was the sister to John Day and his wife Cathy of Rumney and Peggy Day True of Hillsboro.  She is also survived by her two grandchildren: Austin and Aleah Jones as well as many nieces and nephews.
