HILLSBOROUGH – Steven P. Acorn, 75 of Hillsborough, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Concord Hospital with his son Charles by his side.
Born on October 8, 1946 in Waltham, he was the son of the late Charles R. and Frances G. (Keane) Acorn.
Steven was employed as a custodian for Henniker Middle School for over 10 years until his retirement. He was a collector of all things, he enjoyed tinkering with gadgets and cars; He enjoyed wood projects with his wife Barbara. Steven had a deep passion for music, he was a talented musician and found solace in playing his 1959 Fender stratocaster.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two siblings, Russell Acorn and Shirley Acorn.
He is survived by his wife Barbara (Emond) Acorn with whom he shared 42 years of marriage with; their friends and family knew them as a generous, spirited couple. Son's Charles E. Acorn, Paul F. Acorn of Hillsborough, grandson Nathan S. Acorn and his first great grandchild is expected in April.
