CENTER BARNSTEAD – Melissa A. Burris, 37 of Center Barnstead, formerly of Pembroke and Northwood, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at the Elliot Hospital surrounded by her family.
Born on April 9, 1982 in Concord, she was the daughter of Sandi (Ring) Silva of Northwood and Jay Silva of Manchester.
She was educated in the local schools and went on to work for several years as a bus driver for Dail Transportation. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, reading and learning new things and working on arts and crafts. She was most proud to be a mother to her three beautiful daughters and a military wife. She always supported her family and friends in any way she could.
Besides her parents, she is survived by her husband David Burris of Center Barnstead, with whom she shared over 11 years, daughters, Starr Murray of Candia, Erika McBride of Concord and Emma Burris of Center Barnstead, siblings, Alicia Hullinger of KY, April Hullinger of Orford, Sabrina Goss of Northwood, Anna Hullinger of Concord and Jeff Clifford of N. Conway as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. She will forever be remembered as the most caring and beautiful woman to her friends and the strongest, most loving mother and wife to her daughters and husband.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 1:30pm to 3:00pm at the Still Oaks Funeral & Memorial Home, 1217 Suncook Valley Highway, Epsom.
