CONCORD – John A. Dashnaw, 50 of Concord, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Concord Hospital. He is now in the arms of God.
Born on September 18, 1970 in Concord, he was the son of the late Anthony J. Dashnaw and Dorothy J. (Blake) Hollins.
John was educated in the local schools and went on to Manchester School of Technology learning several trades. He was employed for many years by Al Terry Plumbing. John was a sports fanatic The New England Patriots, especially when rooting for Tom Brady as well as going to Nascar races with his son and their friends to cheer for Kevin Harvick. Music was another form of art that John loved, Mötley Crüe, Ozzy Osborne and Buckcherry to name a few could be heard from time to time. He lived for time with his family especially his grandchildren and his dog, Missy, she always held a special place in his heart.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Lisa Mason in 2007.
He is survived by his wife, Cathleen (McJuary) Dashnaw, with whom he shared 32 years with, children, Sean M. Dashnaw of Concord, Alicia M. Dashnaw of Concord and Madison E. Dashnaw of Concord, siblings, Tammy Labrie and her husband Jason of Concord, Lynn Hollins of Franklin and Nicole Hollins of Franklin, three grandchildren, Savanna, Sean and Hailey as well as several nieces and nephews.
