BOSCAWEN – Belle J. Rollins, 91, of Boscawen, formerly of Center Barnstead, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at the Merrimack County Nursing Home.
Born on February 9, 1930 in Detroit, MI; she was the daughter of the late Leon and Bella (McLeod) Parker.
She lived in Center Barnstead for 66 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She especially loved being with her family. She was a caring person who loved having visitors and would make everyone feel at home. Her favorite summer vacations were with Marion and Lee Stockman at their camp in Kennebunk Pond, ME. For many years she was a Sunday School Teacher at Center Barnstead Christian Church and involved with a vacation Bible School. She had a Bible School Club at her home for the neighborhood children throughout the years. She lived her life as unto the Lord.
Besides her parents, Belle was predeceased by her husband Selden B. Rollins and her sisters, Leona Golden, Hazel Lank and Barbara Johnson.
She is survived by her children, Leon Rollins and his wife Alicia of Center Barnstead, Terry Tiede and her husband Kurt of Center Barnstead, Peter Rollins and his wife Terese of Ironwood, MI and Patti Whittier and her husband Keith of Barnstead, twelve grandchildren, seven great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
A service will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 2:00pm at Center Barnstead Christian Church, 116 S. Barnstead Road, Center Barnstead. Masks are at your discretion.
