Rena Dubois

AUBURN – Rena Dubois, 90 of Auburn, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack following a period of declining health.

Born on August 24, 1928 in Manchester, she was the daughter of the late Minor and Edith (Baines) Preston.

She spent many years as a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. Up until recently she still loved to go bowling and in her younger years she enjoyed traveling. She had been a communicant of St. Peter’s Church in Auburn since 2009.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband Louis Burnor as well as her second husband Alfred Dubois, her son, Edward Burnor, daughter, Susan Sylvaria, a step grandson, David Dubois and a step great grandchild, Levi Paquin.

She is survived by her children, Robert Burnor and his significant other, Deana Stiles of Boscawen and Paul Burnor and his wife Marie of Hill, siblings, Venita Cleary of Auburn, Theda Burgess of Pembroke and Cedric Preston of Meredith, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren, step children, Raymond Dubois and his wife Jane, Margaret Morrissette and her husband Norman, Jacqueline Philbrick and her husband Gary and Denise Martineau and her husband Paul, 9 step grandchildren and 22 step great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

At her request, there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 10 A.M. in St. Peter’s Church, Manchester Road, Auburn, NH. Interment will be held at 1 P.M. on Monday at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Hooksett. The Petit-Roan Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
