Mrs. Priscilla (Lambert) Lemaire, 76, lifelong residence of Hooksett/Allenstown, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at her residence.
Born in Manchester on December 17, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Leandre and Marcelle A. (Lafond) Lambert. Priscilla was educated in the local schools and was a graduate of Pembroke Academy Class of 1959.
She worked for many years as a Teacher’s aide at the Village School in Pembroke until her retirement. Priscilla was very involved with the Allenstown Senior Center and helped in their groundbreaking and was a proud volunteer there for many years. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. A devout parishioner of St. John the Baptist Parish, she served on many committees over the years, as a lector for many years and as a member of the Ladies of Ste. Anne and the St. Therese Rosebush Society.
Priscilla enjoyed her trips to Foxwoods, going for rides, and playing cards.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Andre L. “Red” Lemaire.
She is survived by her two sons, Daniel J. Lemaire and his significant other, Maryl Evans and Matthew P. Lemaire and his wife Rose Marie all of Allenstown. She was the sister to Paul Lambert and his wife Nancy of Green Valley, AZ. She was the loving grandmother to Cameron, Maxwell, and Trevor. She is also survived by her aunt, Blanche Pichette, her Uncle, Richard Lafond and his wife Glorie, her cousin, Denise Pichette-Volk and her other cousin, friend and partner-in-crime, Jeannette Gagne.
Calling Hours will be held on Sunday, April 8th from 3 to 6 P.M. in the Petit-Roan Funeral Home 167 Main St. in Pembroke. A concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 9th at 11 A.M. in St. John the Baptist Church in Allenstown. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
