Pauline F. (Martel) L'Heureux

ALLENSTOWN- Pauline F. (Martel) L’Heureux, 97, formerly of Allenstown, passed away at the Glencliff Home on December 30, 2018.

Born in Allenstown, Pauline was the daughter of the late Dorilla and Esther (Girard) Martel. 

Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a presser for Pandora.  Pauline loved singing and cherished her many friends at Glencliff. 

She was predeceased by her siblings, Martha Desmarais, Cecilia “Sil” Daneault, Andre “Jiggs” Martel, Armand “Tom” Martel, Leon “Lee” Martel and Fedora Martel.

She is survived by her sister, Lorraine Plante of Lynn, MA and her sister-in-law Lucille Martel of Manchester.  She is also survived by her niece, godchild and caregiver, Louise (Daneault) Letendre of Allenstown as well as many other nieces and nephews.

A Calling Hour will be held on Saturday, January 12th from 10:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. in the Petit-Roan Funeral Home 167 Main St. Pembroke.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 P.M. in St. John the Baptist Church in Allenstown.  Services will conclude at St. John the Baptist Cemetery Chapel.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Pauline’s memory may be sent to the St. John the Baptist Old Cemetery Trust Fund c/o Edward Emond, 38 Starboard Way Unit B Laconia, NH 03246 or the Glencliff House, 393 High St. Glencliff, NH 03238.   To share a memory or offer a condolence, please visit www.petitroan.com
