Paul L. Drouin

January 30, 1930 ~ October 10, 2017 (age 87) 87 Years Old


PEMBROKE- Paul Leo Drouin, passed away peacefully at the age of 87 on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at the Concord Hospice House surrounded by his family.

Born on January 30, 1930, in Concord to Victor and Marie Drouin, Paul was the youngest of 2 children and graduated from Concord High School. Paul married Marlene (Landroche) Drouin on August 14, 1954. Married for over 60 years, the couple welcomed five children into their home. His family now remembers him as a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who encouraged them to pursue their goals and to stay a close-knit family.

Paul enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, building things, and attending all his children's and grandchildren's sporting events. He was a generous, witty, selfless individual, who loved his family and friends and was a dedicated member of the Catholic Church.  Paul worked for the United States Postal Service for 31 years and served as a member of the United States Army.

Paul is survived by his children and their spouses, Paul and Jill, Rene and Cyndi, Christopher and Esther, Michael and Patti, and Michelle Pritchard and Charlie Demers. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents, sister Pauline and his wife Marlene.

All are welcome to celebrate Paul's life during Calling Hours on Saturday, October 14th from 9 to 11 A.M. at the Petit-Roan Funeral Home, 167 Main St. in Pembroke. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 P.M. in Holy Rosary Church in Hooksett.  Burial with Military Honors will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
