CENTER BARNSTEAD – Forest L. Powell, 57, of Center Barnstead, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at his home following a period of declining health.

Born on February 28, 1962 in Mobile, AL; he was the son of the Ervin Powell of Mobile, AL and the late Addie Lois (Cochran) Powell.

Forest was educated in the local schools; upon high school completion he began his career in Tree Climbing and never stopped. For many years he owned and operated Powell’s Tree Service. He enjoyed woodworking and wood burning as well as painting.

Besides his father, he is survived by his wife of 17 years, Charlene (Colella) Powell of Center Barnstead, his son, Dustin Drasher of MS, sister, Tina Crane and her husband Timothy of Mobile, AL, uncle, Charles Powell of Mobile, AL, two grandsons and a nephew, Tristan Crane of Mobile, AL.
