Donald S. Marsh

CONCORD- Mr. Donald S. Marsh, 78, of Concord, passed away unexpectedly at home on May 11, 2018.

Born in Concord, Don was the son of the late Vincent and Elizabeth (Audet) Marsh.  He was raised and educated in Concord and resided there his entire life.  He was a graduate of St. Johns School and later obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from Niagara University.   

Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a Financial Administrator for the State Department of Education.  In recent years, he enjoyed his part-time employment as a driver for the Concord Meals-On-Wheels Program. 

An avid dog lover, Don cherished his dogs, especially his greyhounds.  He will be lovingly remembered for his devotion to helping others and his quiet demeanor.

He is survived by his cousins: Joanne Marsh of Nottingham, Christine Marsh of Concord, Stephen Marsh of Chicago, IL, Michael Marsh of Sorrento, IL, Tom Marsh of Loudon and Paula Boutin of Warren.

There will be no calling hours.  A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, May 24th at 3 P.M. in the Blossom Hill Cemetery, 207 N. State St. in Concord.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Don’s memory may be sent to the Pope Memorial SPCA of Concord, 94 Silk Farm Rd.
