Nancy P. Wright

Concord--Nancy (Peabody) (Cole) Wright, 80 of Concord, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2016 surrounded by her family.

Born on April 12, 1936 in Stoneham, MA she was daughter of the late Douglas and Hilda (Ober) Peabody. She was a graduate of Pembroke Academy in 1954.

Nancy was a member of the Suncook United Methodist Church and was very active in the Havenwood Community. She raised a family with her first husband Allan Cole, in Pembroke for 15 years. Mrs. Wright taught Nursery School for many years in Pembroke and was also employed for some time at The Princess Shop in Concord. Nancy retired to Emerald Isle, NC for 14 years before returning home to NH.

Besides her parents, Nancy was predeceased by her second husband William Wright and a son Allan “Skip” Cole.

Nancy is survived by her son, Jeffrey Cole and his wife Elizabeth of Canton, PA; her daughters, Kathleen Cole of Pembroke and Wendy Paquette and her husband Gary of Hopkinton; six stepchildren; one sister, Sandra Peabody of Apex, NC; eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, one niece, one nephew and numerous friends at Havenwood.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 9th at 11:00 am at Havenwood Heritage Heights, 33 Christian Ave, Concord. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Havenwood Residence Fund, 33 Christian Ave, Concord, NH  03301 or to Suncook United Methodist Church, 160 Main Street, Pembroke, NH  03275.
