Margaret Rondeau

ALLENSTOWN – Margaret Rondeau, 95, of Allenstown, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Concord Hospital.

Born on October 31, 1922 in New Brunswick, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Rosanna (Mitchell) Foote.

Margaret worked for many years at Northern Telecom as a Quality Inspector. Her first joy in life was her family and any time she was able to spend with them. She had a passion for painting, taking walks and spending time at the cottage. In her younger years, she enjoyed traveling to places like Florida, Hawaii and Colorado.

Besides her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her husband Walter J. Rondeau in 2003, a son, James Rondeau in 1952 and siblings, Oscar Foote, Helen Vigue, James Foote, Stanley Foote, Arthur Foote, Shirley Geer, Thomas Foote, Kenneth Foote, Beverly Miller and Herberta Hammermeister.

Margaret is survived by her daughters, Dianne Hyde of Allenstown, Catherine Goff and her husband Eric of Pembroke and Patricia Buxton of Nottingham; sister, Irene Nickerson of Penacook; grandchildren, Eric Goff, Kyle Goff, Alexander Goff, Brenda Libbey, JoAnne Pacetti and Donna Buxton; great grandchildren, Jamison Goff, Travis Josselyn, Amy Colby, Donna Wrona, Katherine Pacetti and Olivia and Samuel Randlett; great great grandchildren, Jordan, Maikayla, Tyler, Eli, Jeremy, Hannah, Jenna Margaret as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, November 9th from 4 to 8 P.M. at the Petit-Roan Funeral Home, 167 Main Street in Pembroke. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 10th at 11 A.M. at St. John the Baptist Church in Allenstown. Interment will follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Allenstown.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Margaret’s memory to Meals on Wheels, 2 Industrial Park Drive, Concord, NH 03301.
