Loretta Richard

PEMBROKE - Loretta “Lola” Richard, 70, of Pembroke, passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at Concord Hospital surrounded by her family.

Born on March 26, 1947 in Concord, NH she was the daughter of the late Forrest and Rebekah (Swain) Brown. 

Loretta was a graduate of Merrimack Valley High School. She worked for most of her life at Hawaiian Isles II in Concord where she earned the nickname “Lola” and was requested by her favorite patrons. She later worked as a Food Service Manager for A.G.R. Foodmart until she became ill. She enjoyed snowmobiling, going to the races, ceramics, macramé and hairdressing.

Besides her parents, Loretta was predeceased by her husband, George in 2015, a daughter, Rhonda Thibeault and a brother, Howard Brown.

She is survived by her son Jeffrey Martin of Concord; her daughter, Tracey Martin and her significant other Cory Donlon of Pembroke; stepchildren, Keith Richard of Pembroke, Glen Richard and his wife Jeannine of Center Barnstead and Iris Campbell and her husband Bruce of Hillsborough; a sister, Phyllis Randall and her husband Donald of Hopkinton, eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be no calling hours. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, July 8th at 3 P.M. in Riverview Cemetery, Parade Road, Center Barnstead. A Celebration of Her Life will be held immediately following at her late residence.
