James N. Stewart, Sr.

PEMBROKE- Mr. James N. Stewart, Sr., 72, of Pembroke, passed away at Concord Hospital on February 25, 2017 after a long illness.

Born in Concord, he was the son of the late Dana and Anna (Gagne) Stewart.  He was raised and educated in Pembroke, was a graduate of Pembroke Academy, and resided here his entire life.

He enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War.  He was a longtime member of the Deerhead Sportmans Club of Hooksett.

He is survived by his children: James N. Stewart, Jr. and his wife Karen of Epsom, Robyn L. Bailey and her husband Doug of Hooksett and Rhonda Wright Rogers of Florida.  He was the brother to Melvin Stewart and his wife Jean of Arizona and Gary Stewart of Utah.  He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 4th at 1 P.M. in the Still Oaks Funeral & Memorial Home, 1217 Suncook Valley Highway in Epsom.  A Memorial Gathering and Reception will follow until 3 P.M.  Burial will take place in the spring at the convenience of the family.  To share a memory or offer a condolence, please visit www.stilloaks.com
